Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage procurement, SAP-enabled logistics, and data-driven performance improvements. You will drive supplier relations, plan material requirements, and align with production schedules.

Two years of related experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance is expected. The role emphasizes collaboration, data interpretation, and ongoing SAP optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of related supply chain experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain methods, SAP and data integration.
  • Ability to interpret supply chain data and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of staff, vendors and customers.

  • Improve logistics processes from transport to warehouse and material/inventory management using SAP tools and supply chain tech.
  • Evaluate SAP data and systems related to supply chain performance.
  • Enhance SAP capabilities and tools.
  • Provide education on supply chain processes to strengthen organizational performance.
  • Apply long-term supply chain initiatives to reduce risk in hardware supply and improve data exchange with suppliers.
  • Improve Supply Chain systems with bar codes and work instructions to reduce complexity and increase backups.
  • Assist in executing special projects as needed.

  • Maintain supplier relationships and review performance usingon-time delivery
  • UseERP/MRP systemsto review demand, calculate material requirements, and create planned orders based on production needs.
  • Maintain item master information, includinglead times, safety stock, minimum order quantities.
  • Monitor inventory to minimize shortages and excess while supporting production continuity.
  • Resolve shortages and expedite critical materials when necessary to protect production schedules.
  • Coordinate with production schedulers to align material availability with capacity plans and customer delivery dates.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Improve logistics processes from transport to warehouse and material/inventory management through improved use of existing SAP tools and supply chain technology innovation.
  • Evaluate effective use of SAP data and systems related to supply chain.
  • Improve use of SAP capabilities and tools.
  • Provide education regarding supply chain functions and processes to strengthen organization performance.
  • Apply long-term strategic supply chain initiatives to avoid risks related to inadequate hardware supply (e.g., improved data exchange with suppliers, optimizing raw materials, and security of supply of raw materials).
  • Improve Supply Chain systems using optimized tools and processes (full implementation of bar codes and work instructions) resulting in less complexity in material management, more depth in the organization, and increased available backups, and fewer total man-hours.
  • Assist in executing special projects, as needed.

Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $80,168.40 - $95,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
