Job summary

EY is seeking a proactive Procurement Strategy and Sourcing Manager with extensive experience in strategic procurement, category management, and source-to-contract processes. Lead a team of consultants to deliver AI-driven strategies that reduce costs and improve service delivery.

You will engage clients, guide workshops, and oversee project delivery while mentoring junior staff and shaping procurement transformations. In-person client work is expected part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or similar.
• 5–8 years in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Minimum 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Experience managing indirect or direct categories.
• Track record of delivering substantial cost savings or capabilities.
• Leadership experience in a consulting context is a plus.
• Familiarity with spend analytics, sourcing opportunity assessments, and project management frameworks.
• Exposure to procurement technology and AI solutions.

The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Procurement Strategy and Sourcing Manager who possesses a wealth of experience in Strategic Procurement, particularly in Category Management and Sourcing. In this dynamic role, you will evaluate clients' capabilities in category management and source-to-contract processes, while leveraging opportunities to create significant value through strategic execution. You will lead a talented team of consultants in delivering advanced solutions”including AI-driven strategies”that enhance procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Your key responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to uncover opportunities for strategic procurement improvements and collaborate on executing enhancements.
• Facilitate workshops with clients to collect data and insights, evaluate the current state, and identify total cost reduction opportunities.
• Analyze client challenges in category management and offer innovative solutions grounded in best practices.
• Develop project plans and oversee program delivery throughout client engagements.
• Ensure high-quality project deliverables while facilitating client feedback and aligning with their expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Build in-depth category knowledge across varied spend segments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• The base salary range for this position is $128,400 to $235,300, with range adjustments based on experience and geography.
