Job summary

LGG Industrial in the United States seeks an entry-level or developing Buyer to execute purchasing for a defined supplier portfolio within North America. You will manage the PO lifecycle, update supplier data, support rebate administration, and help ensure timely delivery to branch operations.

You will work with guidance on nonroutine sourcing, pricing, and risk matters while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to strengthen supplier performance and continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field; or a high school diploma with 2–3 years of relevant purchasing or logistics experience.
• ERP experience preferred; demonstrated ability to learn business systems is required.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchase order lifecycle for assigned suppliers, including placement, acknowledgment, dates, quantities, expediting, issue resolution, and closure.
• Monitor open/past-due POs, follow escalation procedures, and maintain accurate delivery information in the ERP system.
• Resolve routine discrepancies in orders, receiving, invoicing, pricing, freight, and quantities with suppliers and internal partners.
• Communicate forecasts, demand changes, and priorities to suppliers and confirm lead times and capacity constraints.
• Support continuity of supply by identifying shortages and material risks and escalating as needed.
• Participate in cross‑functional collaboration with Branch Operations, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership.
