Type One Energy Group seeks a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing and purchasing for stellarator development programs. You will manage purchase orders, supplier communications, contract administration, and procure specialized materials and equipment for testing and manufacture.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in procuring engineered components, and familiar with ERP systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a technical environment, and has experience procuring engineered components, precision hardware, specialty materials, or scientific equipment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline is required or equivalent experience.
3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience is required.
Experience managing purchase orders and supplier communications is essential.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills are required.
Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems and excellent organizational/analytical skills are expected.

Responsibilities

Execute procurement activities supporting program development and manufacturing.
Create and manage purchase orders, requisitions, supplier quotations, and procurement documentation.
Source and procure technical components, instrumentation, test equipment, and other products.
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for cost, lead time, technical capability, and quality.
Expedite critical orders and manage supplier delivery commitments.
Maintain procurement records within ERP and purchasing systems.
Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to support program requirements.
Track supplier performance and assist with issue resolution.
Support supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
Assist with contract administration, NDAs, and purchasing agreements.
Generate procurement reports on supplier performance, spend, and delivery metrics.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and contractual requirements.
