Job summary

Disney is seeking a Specialist for strategic procurement and contract management to optimize multi-million dollar expenditures. The role focuses on supplier selection, negotiations, and compliance across diverse Disney Parks, Experiences and Products projects.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, develop risk‑aware procurement strategies, and drive efficient contract execution to support Disney’s interior design and build initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or department management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of various contract types and their proper use.
• Experience supporting the tender process from RFI to contract submission.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential risk exposures during bidding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills with leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience running vendor and vendor relationship management programs.
• Ability to build compelling business cases and complete tasks efficiently.
• Organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing decisions within a selection of service providers to maximize profits from multi-million dollar expenditures.
• Support supplier relationship management, contract approval, tender management, contract negotiation, and compliance.
• Coordinate with multiple management positions and contributors across Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
• Provide and award professional design (or consulting) and construction contracts for the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts project management team.
• Lead the procurement process that meets internal customer requirements, including financial analysis, performance, capacity, and certification of potential vendors.
• Coordinate key decisions related to full contact and acquisition plans for portfolios, project/contract grants, and other critical issues.
• Apply industry knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architecture, security systems, paint, and related fields.
• Analyze market trends and situations that affect internal stakeholders and vendor pricing.
• Develop a long‑term investment plan that supports project goals.
• Lead unique projects from start to finish, aligning with strategic department goals and annual business plans.
