Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Procurement and Sourcing Intern in the Philadelphia area to support the sourcing team, conduct supplier market research, and assist in RFQ processes. You will maintain procurement data, collaborate across functions, and help launch new products.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree at an accredited college or university.
Majoring in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data & Analytics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement process by supporting the sourcing team in purchasing activities.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
Organize and send out RFQs to potential suppliers.
Maintain and update procurement databases and process documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally to engineer, source, develop, and launch new products to the market.
Assist in managing supplier relationships and resolving any issues that arise.
