Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Procurement Solutions Manager in Mossville, IL to lead Power and Energy's digital and analytics team. You will develop data integrity and global visibility, and design, develop, deploy, and monitor procurement capabilities for worldwide applicability.

You will manage a group of contributors, gather business requirements, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing improvement of procurement solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods to identify and implement more efficient approaches.
• Knowledge of techniques for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data to support decision-making.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts and how to apply them to convey ideas and needs.
• Knowledge of category management within an organization’s goods/services and how to analyze end-to-end procurement.

Job Summary:

As the Procurement Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for leading Power and Energy's digital and analytics team, focused on developing data integrity and visibility deliverables globally. Supports the execution of designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities to provide business solutions that are globally effective & applicable.

What You Will Do:

• Leading a group of individual contributors that deliver project associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems.
• Managing the overall design and development of solutions, collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment.
• Executing key strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and development of associated tools & training.
• Driving adoption and identifying continuous improvement opportunities/projects, including standardization and simplification, and mitigating risks.

What You Will Have:

Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.

Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Category Understanding: Knowledge of category management within an organization's goods and services sector; ability to use this knowledge to analyze and improve the end-to-end procurement process and maximize business profitability.

Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
