Job summary

Solventum seeks a Procurement Planner (Supply Chain) to optimize the supply chain, balance demand with supply, and drive inventory improvements. You will publish metrics and lead projects that speed delivery while coordinating with manufacturing and finance on payments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher and 2+ years in supply chain or related fields; SAP experience is a plus, with domestic travel up to 10%. On-site in Flemington, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution and 2 years in supply chain, planning, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Alternative: High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• APICS CPIM certification is preferred and may be added to professional development plan.

Responsibilities

As a Procurement Planner (Supply Chain), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand.
• Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making and publish and present service and inventory metrics and results.
• Identifies and leads projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment. Review and reports on project progress with management.
• Works closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times.
• Analyzes and resolves complex payment issues
• Provide Subject Matter Expert production support for procure-to-pay process

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND six (6) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification is preferred. If not complete at the time this position is assumed, the certification will become part of the employee professional development plan as agreed between management and the employee.
• Experience in Production Planning in SAP
• Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills

Work location: Flemington, NJ (on-site)

Travel: May include up to 10% [domestic]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $73,600 - $101,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
