Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a VAS Packaging & Procurement Coordinator to support procurement and packaging operations. The role focuses on PO entry, supplier communication, sourcing support, and cost management to keep materials available for ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain, and strong Excel skills. Illinois-based position with an employee ownership program and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support and help develop and execute procurement strategies for warehouse supplies and VAS materials.
• Assist supplier sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and performance management of vendors.
• Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and pricing to ensure accuracy and flag discrepancies.
• Maintain pricing and cost trackers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in inventory management and coordinating with warehouse/ops teams.
