Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join the new Strategic Commissioning Service within the Adult Care Directorate. You will design and manage tendering processes to secure safe, high-quality services and achieve value-for-money.
You will work with a range of partners to provide commercial advice, ensure compliance, and support transformation and continuous improvement across commissioned services.
We have an opportunity for you to join us as a Senior Procurement Officer.
We are establishing a new Strategic Commissioning Service, within our Adult Care Directorate and are ambitious about our plans to invest in and advance our approach to innovative, evidenced based commissioning, driving the delivery of positive outcomes for the people of Lincolnshire, in a compliant and efficient way.
To help us achieve this, we are seeking two additional exceptional individuals who will ensure commissioned services are procured effectively to deliver safe, high-quality, value-for-money outcomes, and meet requirements within allocated budgets.
Our Senior Procurement Officers are responsible for the design, management and delivery of professional, commercially robust and fully compliant tendering processes to ensure fit for purpose service provision, efficiency benefits, quality improvements and financial savings where practicable.
They work collaboratively across a wide range of internal and external partners and stakeholders to proactively provide professional advice, guidance and support on all commercial and procurement matters for commissioned services to support compliance and risk management, continuous improvement, service transformation and improved outcomes for the residents of Lincolnshire.
