Job description

Summary

Chobani is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive Procurement Manager to support and expand our Responsible Sourcing initiatives across the enterprise. The Procurement Manager is responsible for both executing the day-to-day responsibilities of our responsible sourcing strategy (i.e. supplier compliance, due diligence, and audit oversight) and contributing to the strategic development of the program as it matures. This role partners closely with Procurement, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, Quality, and business stakeholders to ensure suppliers meet the organization's ethical, social, and environmental requirements. Beyond compliance, the Manager will play an active role in advancing our responsible sourcing ambitions: evaluating ingredient and supply chain risks, researching mitigation approaches, and developing recommendations that help Chobani source more responsibly over time.
The Manager will lead supplier due diligence activities, risk assessments, supplier engagement programs, audit remediation efforts, ESG monitoring, and compliance initiatives. The position plays a critical role in identifying and mitigating supply chain risks while supporting the organization's commitments to sustainability, human rights, supplier impact, and responsible business practices.
This position requires strong data management and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and database tools, to support reporting, compliance tracking, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, intellectually curious, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability. This role supports Responsible Sourcing initiatives across all One Chobani brands, contributing directly to innovation, supply assurance, and responsible business practices.

Responsibilities
  • Supplier Onboarding & Compliance
    * Partner closely with Sourcing teams to understand requirements and ensure sourcing activities align with quality, compliance, and ethical standards.
    * Onboard new suppliers and ingredients against Chobani's Regulatory, Supplier Quality, and Responsible Sourcing requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable policies including the Do Not Use List, Supplier Quality Manual, Economic Sanctions, and Sedex requirements; manage new supplier set-up in SAP.
    * Partner with Sourcing teams to align procurement activities with quality, compliance, sustainability and ethical standards.
    * Track and manage supplier compliance with Chobani's Responsible Sourcing Program, including SRM Scorecard reporting and escalation of compliance issues.
    Responsible Sourcing Program Management
    * Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Responsible Sourcing Program, including maintaining procedures, executing strategic initiatives, and identifying opportunities to advance program maturity.
    * Monitor emerging regulations, industry standards, and stakeholder expectations to inform program direction and keep Chobani ahead of evolving requirements, developing documentation, metrics, dashboards, and reporting as needed.
    Supplier Risk & Due Diligence
    * Lead supplier risk assessments and due diligence reviews for new and existing suppliers, managing screening via Sedex and EcoVadis platforms.
    * Partner with category managers and sourcing teams to prioritize and develop mitigation plans for identified risks, including research and recommendations on solutions for key ingredient and supply chain risks.
    * Maintain risk monitoring tools, supplier risk profiles, and performance tracking against ESG and responsible sourcing objectives.
    Data Analytics & Reporting
    * Develop and maintain supplier risk, compliance, and program dashboards; analyze data to surface trends, emerging risks, and opportunities
    * Support annual ESG, sustainability, regulatory, and compliance reporting requirements.
    Supplier Engagement & Training
    * Conduct supplier outreach and engagement to strengthen responsible sourcing performance.
    * Support training for procurement teams and suppliers on responsible sourcing expectations and requirements.
    * Participate in industry forums, benchmarking initiatives, and external partnerships
Requirements
  • Education & Experience

    * Experience conducting supplier due diligence and risk assessments.
    * Experience working with third-party risk monitoring platforms and supplier management systems.
    * Experience supporting audit, compliance, or sustainability initiatives preferred.
    * Experience with e sourcing tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), or procurement platforms preferred
