Job summary

Lufthansa Technik Component Services is seeking a Procurement Manager - cMRO in the United States. You will build strategic partnerships, negotiate component repairs, and oversee supplier relationships for cMRO projects.

The role requires 1–2 years in aviation purchasing with fluency in English; German/Spanish desirable. Travel, SAP skills, and strong analytical and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree desirable.
• 1-2 years experience in Aviation / Purchasing / Contract Management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage component repairs with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and act as primary interface between vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee sourcing activities, procurement work packages, projects, supplier portfolios, and sourcing initiatives.
• Prepare commercial recommendations and memos based on market insights.
• Participate in supplier negotiations and contract discussions.
• Drive procurement process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor MRO market and develop new sources.
• Forecast and track procurement/cMRO projects and take corrective actions.
• Explore business opportunities and cMRO packages.
• Prepare and coordinate cMRO RFQs and evaluate supplier responses.
• Participate in supplier visits and industry shows.
• All other duties as assigned.

Tasks

Your tasks as Procurement Manager - cMRO may include, among others:

• Manage & negotiate component repairs
