Job summary

Retell AI in Redwood City is seeking a hands-on Procurement Manager to build and own procurement as we scale. You’ll own sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing vendor management across the company.

You’ll partner with Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, HR, and leadership to drive cost savings, establish processes from scratch, and implement automation to make procurement faster and more strategic.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contract negotiation experience.
• Owned meaningful company spend and driven cost savings.
• Experience at a fast-growing technology company or startup.
• Proficient with SaaS, software, or technical procurement.
• Highly analytical with spend data and reporting skills.
• Able to build procurement processes and operate with minimal structure.
• Excellent communication across Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, and HR.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to build and own procurement at Retell as we scale. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is commercially sharp, analytical, and comfortable building things from scratch. You’ll own vendor selection, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing vendor management across the company. You’ll work closely with Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, HR, and leadership to make sure we’re getting the best value from every major vendor and building a procurement function that can scale with the company.

YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF YOU

• Have 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing
• Have strong vendor negotiation and contract negotiation experience
• Have owned meaningful company spend
• Have experience at a fast-growing technology company or startup
• Have experience with SaaS, software, or technical procurement
• Are highly analytical and comfortable working with spend data
• Can operate independently without much existing structure
• Have built procurement processes or functions from scratch
• Move quickly and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy
• Are a strong communicator and can work across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, and HR

JOB DETAILS

Cash: $165,000 - $205,000
Equity: 4-year vest / 1-year cliff
Location: Redwood City, California (Relocation support provided)
US Visas: Retell AI is open to sponsoring work authorization for qualified candidates, including H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, and F-1 (OPT/CPT).
