A leading company in the insuretech space is seeking a Procurement & Real-Estate Manager. The role is focused on navigating procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and managing real estate transactions to enhance operational efficiency. Overview: As the payment leader within the insuretech space, One Inc provides its customers a full suite of inbound and outbound payment solutions. The Procurement & Real-Estate Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement & sourcing function for a US based company with employees in the US, Mexico, and India. This role is also responsible for the management of real estate lease transactions, facilities, and related project management for US locations The individual in this role will have frequent contact with senior management within the company and suppliers providing goods and services to the company. The person in this role will develop policies, sourcing strategies, objectives, and procedures for the operation of procurement activities as well as for maintaining the real-estate portfolio. This role will take the lead when negotiating all major vendor and real-estate contracts in collaboration with senior level management of the company.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding of business functions, effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organizational skills. The successful Procurement & Real-Estate Manager will develop policies, sourcing strategies, objectives, and procedures for the operation of procurement activities as well as for maintaining the real-estate portfolio. This role will take the lead when negotiating all major vendor and real-estate contracts in collaboration with senior level management of the company.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead strategic procurement/real-estate effort to support company operations and needs.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals, objectives, and targeted savings. Analyze procurement needs, identify potential suppliers, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Develop and implement standard processes for RFPs, RFIs and contracting. Monitor the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of the procurement process and make recommendations for process improvements as needed. Build, modify, renew, and terminate contracts as required and in collaboration with the Legal Department.
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of goods and services. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that they understand the company's requirements and expectations, and work with them to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action when necessary. Establish appropriate performance metrics and scorecards to measure procurement efficiency and manage the assets of the organization. Work with suppliers to develop corrective action plans to address any performance issues. Maintain and inventory of all contracts to identify redundancy and overlapping spend.
Build effective relationships with internal business leaders and external vendors.
Responsible for the management of real estate lease transactions, facilities, and related projects.
Partner with building managers in Knoxville, TN and Folsom, CA, to ensure that they comply with relevant laws and regulations, including safety and environmental regulations and have appropriate emergency response plans for building evacuations, in the event of fire, natural disasters and other possible events.
Develop and manage the facilities budget.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure that all work is completed to the company's standards and within budget.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred
7+ Years of experience in procurement, purchasing and supplier/supply chain management with solid understanding of industry best practices.
Experience selecting and/or implementing new Procurement/Sourcing applications is a plus.
Experience negotiating with IT and/or Software Vendors.
Proven ability to lead and implement procurement strategy across the organization.
Experience managing real estate lease transactions, facilities, and projects.
Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, and other fire and life safety codes.
