Job summary

US Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System is seeking qualified corrections professionals to foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Education must include a four-year degree, and applicants must have at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience, with 1 year at the GL-04 level.

A combination of education and experience is acceptable as described above, with credit for relevant paid or unpaid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience, with at least 1 year at GL-04 level.
• Experience in procurement and administrative support in an office or warehouse environment.
• Experience creating reports to validate accountability of inventory data.
• Experience tracking transactions to ensure codes, signatures, prices, services, and receipts are complete and accurate.
