Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Purchasing Assistant (Finance) to support materials management and purchasing, assisting the Regional Procurement team and providing exposure to procurement fundamentals.

Responsibilities include reviewing aged inventory, tracking mill orders, maintaining pricing for the West region, expediting orders, and sourcing to meet short-term material needs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative and clerical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree required; ideally Supply Chain, Data analytics.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Review aged inventory reports and coordinate activity with Purchasing and Sales.
• Maintain monthly pricing adjustments for West region.
• Track mill order confirmations and update for planning purposes.
• Expedite mill orders, updating delivery dates and scheduling inbound mill receipts.
• Sourcing and buying to fulfill short-term material requirements.
• Other related activities as needed
