Job summary

UPS Procurement is seeking qualified undergraduate or graduate students for our 2026 Summer Internship program in Atlanta. Interns will be immersed in corporate culture, attend business meetings, and deliver presentations to senior management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Interns will work on tools to improve strategic sourcing, support analytics initiatives, and contribute to training platforms.

Qualifications

A rising sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate; vendor sourcing experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Experience with negotiations preferred.
Experience with contract management preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available.
Must be located in the job location or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Helps develop category implementation plans to ensure continuous process improvement.
Creates complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations.
Supports the execution of contracts within the assigned commodity.
Assists with RFIs, RFPs, financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms, and penalties.
Assists in developing fact-based negotiation strategies to obtain best value.
Maintains and contributes weekly and monthly reporting.
Supports buyers in their daily functions as needed.
Identifies ways to reduce costs through competitive sourcing initiatives.
Supports and enforces Procurement policies to ensure compliance.
