Job summary

The Dorman Supply Chain Team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations, providing exposure to real-world business processes and supplier interactions.

The US base rate for this full-time position is $24/hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge and skills,

Qualifications

Completion of coursework in Business, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
Genuine interest in Supply Chain Management.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Support the procurement process by assisting with the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services.
Maintain and update procurement systems, records and documentation.
Help prepare and analyze procurement reports, metrics and data insights.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving procurement processes.
