Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
At least 3-5 years of procurement experience Experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management or commercial roles. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizations. Experience identifying and delivering value improvement opportunities. Understanding of operational environments and third-party spend management.
Strong business partnering, stakeholder influence and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable procurement plans. Knowledge of procurement processes, category management and contract management principles. Supplier relationship and performance management, including improving supplier performance, innovation and service delivery. Commercial acumen, sourcing and negotiation capability. Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills, using spend, supplier and market data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Ability to influence without authority and operate effectively within a complex matrix organisation. Risk management capability across commercial, supply chain and supplier environments. Transformation and continuous improvement capability, including adoption of new tools, processes and ways of working.
Experience supporting retail, convenience, fuels, truck services or other customer-facing businesses. Professional procurement qualification such as MCIPS or equivalent.
