Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer in Cranberry Township, PA, on a hybrid schedule with two+ days in the office. You will manage deliveries from bid through manufacturing, coordinating with design, suppliers and internal teams for AP1000, AP300 and other products.

The role reports to the Supplier Chain Delivery Stream Manager and requires a US citizenship; a Bachelor’s in engineering and experience in Power Generation or Supply Chain are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience or previous project work related to Power Generation, Manufacturing, Project Management or Supply Chain.
• US Citizen. You must meet the criteria for access to our partners' and clients' technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Westinghouse Design, Suppliers and Internal Manufacturing to become the supply chain manufacturing engineering expert for the assigned nuclear equipment.
• Support supplier identification, evaluation, down selection and negotiations.
• Create procurement requirements and SAP purchase requisitions in collaboration with design.
• Develop supplier document submittal requirements and manufacturing witness and hold point requirements with design engineering and quality.
• Support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
• Cost and schedule reductions through supplier management efforts.
• Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with Suppliers.
• Conduct scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse project teams.
• Develop supplier oversight plans with Supplier Performance Engineering and oversee execution of oversight and hold points.
• Review supplier submittals and manage document review performance with resource allocation.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project, product, and service deliveries for Westinghouse, from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. This will include managing supplier engagement and development strategies, and working with internal and external customers to report supply chain and manufacturing status related to AP1000, AP300, and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio.

You will report to the Supplier Chain Delivery Stream Manager and be located at Cranberry Township, PA on a hybrid basis with two+ days in the office.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be ($58,400 to $73,000) per year.
