The Specialist II, Procurement will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support operational needs and drive cost efficiencies.Key Responsibilities:Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet company requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and procurement data to drive decision-making and improve sourcing strategies.Purchase Orders: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including the preparation and issuance of purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.Cost Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions. Conduct cost analyses and implement cost control measures to optimize procurement expenditures.Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured materials and services meet quality standards and specifications. Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to align procurement activities with inventory needs and production schedules.
