Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support category strategies for semiconductors and electro-mechanical components, collecting and analyzing pricing, supplier, and part data. You will help select suppliers, onboard them, and maintain vendor records while coordinating with engineering and operations teams to align sourcing needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong data skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing.
• General understanding of purchasing processes and supply-base management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic data analysis and reporting capability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of category strategies for semiconductor and electro-mechanical components.
• Collect, organize, and analyze pricing, supplier, and part attribute data.
• Conduct competitive pricing analysis to support sourcing decisions.
• Assist with supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing communications.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data and system records.
• Upload and extract procurement data from ERP and internal systems.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality issues.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align sourcing needs.
• Track and report key procurement metrics related to cost, delivery, and performance.
