Job summary

EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to lead client engagements across strategic procurement and category management initiatives. You will guide workshops, drive total value through cost reduction and optimized sourcing, and mentor teams to deliver tangible client outcomes.

You will develop category expertise across spend areas, leverage AI-enabled procurement tools, and collaborate with clients to shape innovative, high-impact strategies in a hybrid, client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, including at least 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Experience with indirect or direct category management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a client-facing consultant to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvements.
• Lead process workshops and guide discussions to gather information and identify optimization opportunities.
• Identify challenges in category management and recommend innovative solutions using leading practices.
• Develop approaches and work plans; manage project delivery and client reviews.
• Own deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions to optimize decision-making and efficiency.
