RayzeBio, a Bristol Myers Squibb subsidiary, is seeking a Buyer, Procurement to join the Indianapolis-based supply chain team. You will source equipment and materials for capital projects and ensure on-time delivery meeting cGMP standards.

Responsibilities include negotiating prices, placing POs, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining SAP/Ariba master data while collaborating with QA, Legal, and Regulatory teams to stay compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in biotech, pharma procurement.
• Experience in procurement, materials management, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience buying for capital projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Source and help select suppliers for capital project items and for direct materials as needed.
• Negotiate prices and terms, and support supplier contracts to get best value.
• Place and manage purchase orders for capital projects; coordinate with Project Controls and Finance.
• Work with project teams, Quality, Legal, and other departments to keep purchases on track and compliant.
• Own and maintain SAP / Ariba master data.
• Track supplier performance, prepare reports, and take corrective action per SOPs and cGMP.
• Ensure materials meet FDA, cGMP requirements.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery status in ERP systems.
• Identify cost savings and drive continuous improvement in supply chain.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.
