Job summary

Evonik Corporation in Lafayette, Indiana, is seeking a Procurement Business Partner Manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, and category execution. The role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver value, manage contracts, and ensure compliant procurement workflows in a fast-paced environment.

You will define contract requirements, manage relationships with service providers, monitor budgets, and support improved procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined procurement objectives and improve processes.
• Define contract requirements and draft small portfolio specifications.
• Deliver results by managing daily relations with contract service providers.
• Execute category plans and achieve targeted category goals; identify improvements.
• Negotiate with stakeholders; analyze cost drivers, market dynamics, risks, and alternatives.
• Provide budgeting for a function and perform complex budgeting analysis.
• Offer technical guidance and mentoring as needed.
• Review and create clear reports and provide guidance as necessary.
