Job Description

Oro Labs is a non-code SaaS platform that is made up of several component technologies including the following:

1. Dynamic intake forms that can ask questions to obtain information from the user and will direct to other questions depending on the answer to the previous question.
2. Complex workflow engine for routing tasks based on logic, can have workflows dependent on other workflows completing or can run them in parallel but not complete them until all are done, etc. This also includes approval based workflows.
3. GenAI and associated AI technologies – uses OpenAI to interpret user requests and match them to the potential responses and can be used to look up the appropriate commodity code for a purchase, interpret a document loaded and prefill in the associated form fields, etc.
4. Integration platform using Workato to interface to other applications via SOAP API, OAuth services, etc. with over 1000 pre-built connectors. This is also a non-code integration engine.
5. Reporting engine based on Google Looker. Everything in the application is available for reporting. Oro also has an API to push data to our DnA datalake which we will take advantage of.
6. Oro Labs was built to address building a full end-to-end workflow for procurement and contracting; however, it can be used for many other use cases for any other part of the business that needs this type of intake & process orchestration technology. For instance, it could have been used instead of ServiceNow to build out the employee onboarding workflow.

Key skills for the functional resource are business analyst skills in understanding business processes primarily in the Procurement and Legal spaces given that is our focus. Understanding of Ariba and CLMS systems like Apttus are ideal. Need to work with users to map out business processes so process documentation skills in tools like Visio and Lucid would be ideal. Translating these into business requirements and then into Epics, features, and user stories in Azure Dev Ops is key. The implementation and ongoing support will leverage the Agile methodology leveraging Azure Dev Ops. Understanding of the Oro application and ability to be trained on it to perform IT administrative tasks given it is a no code environment.

Key skills for technical resources: Experience building and supporting application integrations with Workato or a similar platform. It is important that the resources have experience integrating with applications via REST APIs and OAuth services. Ideally familiar with Procurement and SAP API integration. Ability to learn Oro no-code platform to help build intake forms, workflow, and integrations required to build a new application or enhance an existing one.
