Lincoln, a Welbilt brand, is seeking a Buyer I at the Shreveport, LA location to procure goods and services for indirect and direct operations, manage sourcing, supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and order processing.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience. Work is in a normal office environment with a day shift and surrounding responsibilities in logistics and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years experience.
• Analytical thinking and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, researches, and evaluates suppliers meeting price, quality, timing, and reliability standards.
• Recognizes and evaluates promotions to secure reduced prices.
• Assesses supplier products to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Analyzes and negotiates bids, terms, and delivery conditions within authority.
• Interprets orders and schedules to coordinate purchasing activities.
• Monitors supplier performance and ensures timely delivery.
