Job summary

Byrne Dairy is seeking a Procurement Associate to execute daily purchasing activities, process purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records. You will support multiple departments, follow supplier timelines, and learn Byrne's procurement systems and policies.

This role offers standard Monday–Friday hours at the Lafayette, NY location with competitive benefits starting day one and ongoing educational support. Strong attention to detail and organization are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Entrepreneurship, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist production, sales, and internal departments with material due dates, order status, and information.
• Update and maintain planning tools, procurement records, vendor files, and related documentation.
• Place orders with vendors to support operational requirements as directed.
• Follow established procurement practices and deadlines, including lead times and purchasing procedures.
• Generate and submit purchase orders using company systems and maintain vendor data.
