Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC in Austin, TX, seeks a full-time procurement professional to manage day-to-day purchasing for wind, solar and BESS projects. You will support internal stakeholders, ensure policy adherence, and drive supplier negotiations to contract award while maintaining strong supplier relations.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) and 1+ year in procurement/contract management, with SAP or SAP Ariba experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree is an advantage.
At least 1 year of procurement/contract management experience in construction, energy, chemical or similar capital projects.
First-hand experience with procurement and contracts.
Experience with SAP and SAP Ariba or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of purchasing activities for parts and services for onshore wind, solar and BESS projects.
Support internal stakeholders and ensure sites are operational; manage supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with procurement policy and processes.
Track forecasted value and savings targets; process purchase requisitions daily.
Negotiate to contract award with technical/asset teams; develop scoping with internal customers.
Develop strong internal relationships to reflect business needs in contracts.
