Job summary

Saalex Corporation is seeking a Procurement Analyst II to support Navy procurement activities for IT, network, and engineering systems across Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. This role emphasizes acquisition planning, vendor coordination, contract compliance, and lifecycle procurement support.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in procurement, a related bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of FAR/DoD policies. The position offers competitive pay ($70k-$125k) and benefits; security clearance eligibility

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, acquisition, supply chain, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Deltek, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or DoD procurement policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination for IT and engineering assets.
• Support acquisition planning and ensure alignment with program requirements and funding constraints.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Track procurement status, deliveries, and discrepancies using procurement or asset management systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and program procurement policies.
• Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, purchase records, and audit trails.
• Support lifecycle procurement activities including technology refresh, upgrades, and sustainment.
• Assist with cost analysis, budgeting support, and procurement reporting.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to procurement activities.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
