Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a procurement professional to source materials and services for multiple projects within a division. The role emphasizes vendor evaluation, adherence to procurement policies, and accurate record keeping to support Accounts Payable.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or construction management, 1+ year construction experience, and solid Office skills; JD Edwards E1 World is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.
• 1+ year related construction experience preferred.
• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization.
• JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Able to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
• Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects.
• Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
• Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
• Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager.
• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Facilitates RFPs and collaborates with preconstruction team on new opportunities and current projects.
• Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

• Working in an open cubical workstation or office, subject to office noise
