Job summary

Altium Packaging, located in Sparta, Tennessee, seeks a Processor, Trainee to operate injection/blow molding machinery and support production goals. You will perform machine checks, adjust settings, and assist in quality assurance to meet product specifications.

The role requires basic machine operation experience and a high school diploma; overtime may be required. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training and benefits designed to support your growth within a leading packaging

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operating experience.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Plastic molding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection/blow molding machinery to produce plastic bottles.
• Make machine adjustments with controls and hand tools.
• Dislodge jams and clear blockages as needed.
• Inspect products and boxes for defects and ensure quality.
• Monitor machine controls and process parameters.
• Complete required paperwork for quality system.

Location Address: 600 Vista Drive, Sparta, Tennessee 38583 Work Shift: 12hr-D Shift (United States of America)

The Processor, Trainee is responsible for operating injection/blow molding machinery to facilitate the production of plastic bottles, and for completing periodic machine and product checks.

Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties. Make machine adjustments as needed with the assistance of buttons, controls, and hand tools. Dislodge jams in machinery as needed Inspect of products and boxing, must have a good eye for defects Monitor machine controls to ensure proper process Work cohesively with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are being met Complete required paperwork for departments quality system Conduct periodic machine and product checks.

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements: 1+ years of machine operating experience Preferred: High school degree or equivalent Plastic molding experience.
