Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Processing Worker I in Santee, CA to sort, inspect, clean, price and stock donated goods. You will accept donations and assist on the sales floor, delivering friendly service to donors and customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, merchandise quality, and maintaining safe, organized donation areas. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred and at least 6 months of processing/retail experience is desirable.

• Minimum of 6 months recent processing/retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, Inspect, clean, price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
• Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Opens and closes donations area; safeguards donations and keeps areas clean and organized.
• Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

Hourly Rate: $18

POSITION SUMMARY: Sorts, cleans, prices and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. Accepts donations and provides assistance on sales floor as needed. Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Processor experience: PreferredExperience for Processing Worker I: Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
