Cresco Labs in Yellow Springs, Ohio, is seeking a Processing Technician to handle harvested material, grind/sift, weigh and log, and collect samples for quality testing. The role requires adherence to strict health and safety policies and the ability to sit, stand and kneel for extended periods.

You will maintain sanitary conditions, operate M9-Sorter and Mobius controls, and ensure GMP compliance while logging equipment runs and submitting proper PPE usage.

• Ensuring team follows all GMP protocols including PPE usage.

JOB SUMMARY

The Processing Technician role is an essential role for processing harvested material. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience working in an operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand and kneel for periods of time exceeding 4 hours.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Processing harvested flower material
• Grating and sorting processed material
• Weighing and logging material
• Collecting samples and performing tests to ensure quality
• Maintaining a sanitary work environment
• Safely transport products from workspace to storage area
• Ensure inflow and outflow material meets Quality specifications
• Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance
• Starting and stopping equipment at beginning and end-of-shift, respectively
• Adjusting M9-Sorter and Mobius setting controls (vacuum, blades, tumbler, tilt, infeed & outfeed speeds) for machine runs, as well as making sure all grind/sift equipment is functioning as intended
• Monitoring inbound and outbound material to ensure quality and process standards are adhered to
• Ensuring proper cleaning of equipment while adhering to safety specifications
• Monitoring room conditions and informing leadership when conditions are out of specification
• Ensuring cleaning and machine run logs are filled out properly
• Ensuring team follows all GMP protocols including wearing proper PPE (ear plugs, hair nets, disposable gloves, cut-resistant gloves, and company provided captive scrubs).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure
• At least 1 year of experience working in food production or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand and kneel for periods of time exceeding 4 hours.

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. $18—$18 USD
