Job summary

Lockwood Packing Company in Lockwood, MO is seeking dependable Processing Team Members for our Raw Production Department. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with a full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts weekly.

You will help weigh, batch, grind, and mix ingredients in a safe production environment, with on-the-job training available. Experience is not required, and we provide comprehensive benefits including Health, Vision, Life Insurance, a 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stage raw materials and ingredients.
• Weigh spices and ingredients using approved recipes.
• Operate grinders, mixers, blenders, and other food processing equipment.
• Grind, batch, and mix products according to production schedules.
• Load ingredients into processing equipment.
• Stage finished batches for the next step in production.
• Complete production records and inventory documentation.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work with your team to meet daily production goals.

Lockwood Packing Company is hiring dependable team members to join our Raw Production Department. As a Processing Team Member, you'll help prepare the ingredients used to produce our snack stick products by weighing, batching, grinding, and mixing raw materials in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

No food manufacturing experience? No problem. We provide on-the-job training for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and ready to learn.

What You'll Do

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or meat processing experience is helpful, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift
• Work in refrigerated production areas (35°F–45°F)
• Work around food processing equipment, raw meat products, spices, and seasonings
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Typical schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week
• Overtime may be available based on production needs
• Work schedules may vary based on staffing and production demands
