Job summary

LifeNet Health is hiring a Processing Support Technician CV in Virginia Beach, VA. The role supports tissue circulating activities and in-process documentation within FDA-regulated cleanrooms.

You will perform setup and cleaning tasks, manage materials, and assist with environmental monitoring in a fast-paced production setting, contributing to lifesaving allografts.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• Zero years of work experience required; one year preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a regulated environment and follow PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Tissue circulating support for all processing rooms, including obtaining equipment, preparing materials, and samples for transport.
• Set-up, break-down, and cleaning of processing rooms; inspect areas and manage waste documentation.
• Inventory and organize supplies; ensure materials and equipment are available for processing.
• Perform environmental monitoring and stock supplies for clean rooms.
• Monitor temperatures and maintain equipment like freezers and incubators as required.

ABOUT THIS JOB

Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Bayside)

Department: Production & Logistics

Schedule: Full-Time, Saturday-Monday (5:15AM-6:00PM)

Clinical Status: Clinical

Important: You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Processing Support Technician CV, you'll perform all aspects of circulating and in-process documentation of tissues and equipment/materials for all processing cleanrooms in a FDA regulated environment.

These roles are critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Tissue Circulating support for all processing rooms which includes obtaining necessary equipment/tools/items, preparing processing materials, and preparing samples for transport.


• Perform set-up, break-down, and terminal cleaning events for all processing rooms and cleans and inspects general areas as needed, which includes the removal and documentation of post-processing materials and forms and bio-hazardous waste.


• Inventory and organize supplies and equipment necessary for processing.


• Perform environmental monitoring (touch plating of clean rooms and general areas), prepare processing materials, and orders/stocks supplies and equipment for clean rooms.


• Monitor temperatures and maintain specified equipment (freezers, refrigerators, and incubators) as required.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Minimum Requirements:

• High School or GED required


• Zero years of work experience is required

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

• One (1) year work experience preferred

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $17.00 / hourly

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is a flat rate of $17.00 hourly (entry level). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
