Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Be trained in HACCP and identify the designated CCPs for the line they are working on.
• Acknowledge, understand, and follow GMP principles at all times.
• Carry out all tasks designated by the line Foreman.
• Properly use checkweighers, metal detectors, and X‑Ray machines.
• Understand how each machine operates and apply basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Complete all required paperwork for the line with assistance from the Foreman, Supervisor, and Quality Tech.
• Ensure machines are clean and inspect all equipment before and after product runs.
• Communicate clearly and directly with other production leadership and cross‑department personnel.
• Maintain flexibility with schedule and be available as needed.
• Perform any other work deemed necessary by the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Follow all SOPs and SSOPs and serve as an example for all employees.
• Train new and current employees on all equipment under the oversight of the Foreman and Supervisor.
• Be proficient in operating the following equipment: Filler, Sealer, End‑of‑Line, Stacker, Scanner, Mixer/Oil Operator, SSK Filler, SSK Unloader, Cartoners, Case Erectors, Wrappers, Baggers, Enrobers, Batching Equipment, and Hilo operation.
