Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a manufacturing line operator to oversee extrusion, mixing, and oven processes, ensuring smooth production and product quality. You will set up equipment, monitor line efficiency, and perform data entry and quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ability to work 40+ hours per week across a 3x12 and 4-day shift pattern, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

3rd shift 5X8 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMFriday-Sunday, 3X12 7:00 AM- 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMSaturday–Monday, 3x12 7:00 PM –7:30 AM4 days on / 4 days off 7:00 PM–7:30 AM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Responsible for overseeing extruder, mixing, ingredients or roll and oven processes
• Responsible for set ups and maintain proper adjustments of the machinery and equipment, which could include clearing jams and performing quality checks
• Responsible for overseeing quality and area upkeep
• Monitors product flow, delivery and reject systems
• Ensures line is running efficiently and prepared for schedule runs
• Responsible for area housekeeping, weekly cleaning processes and sanitation functions
• Work with other team members to ensure objectives are being met, including aiding other areas within department as needed
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including maintaining work logs and data collection
• Understand unique qualities of the product and specific process for department
• Input data into company software
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or age or older.
• Must have a general knowledge of PC’s, excellent communication, interpersonal, training, teaming and problem-solving skills
• Must have basic math, analytical and technical skills.
• Must work effectively in a team environment which requires continued development of new skills, continued drive for productivity and process improvements, self-direction and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Must be able to work any shift in any department, including an alternative 12-hour work schedule, weekends and holidays.
• Regular predictive attendance is required.
• Must be able to work over 40 hours a week.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of working in a manufacturing environment including, but not limited to, excessive heat, dust and noise
• Must have the ability to lift moderately heavy weights(up to 50 pounds)
• Must be willing to comply with grooming/sanitation requirements
