Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and support daily processing needs.
• Complete shipping and receiving tasks for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Support processing operations through product handling, sorting, packing, and palletizing.
• Inspect products for quality concerns, including eggs.
• Monitor processing equipment and report safety concerns.
• Assist in daily cooler inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary work area.

Position Summary

Join our Processing team as a dependable, safety-focused associate supporting daily production operations. In this hands‑on role, you will operate a forklift, assist with shipping and receiving, monitor product quality, and help keep production moving efficiently. Success in this position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and consistent adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and support daily processing needs.
• Complete shipping and receiving tasks for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Support processing operations through product handling, sorting, packing, and palletizing.
• Inspect products for quality concerns, including broken, cracked, or dirty eggs.
• Monitor processing equipment and promptly report operational or safety concerns.
• Assist in daily cooler inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow USDA regulations, SQF standards, company procedures, and all applicable food safety requirements.
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow all workplace safety guidelines.
• Complete other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or food processing is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic data entry with use of Microsoft Excel required.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift and move materials as required, in accordance with company safety guidelines.
• Work safely around production equipment and follow established procedures.
