Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions is seeking a Processing Assistant to operate production equipment and CIP systems to meet quality standards. The role requires following directions, working in a team, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, and production experience is preferred. English literacy is required. This on-site position offers union benefits and opportunities for growth within the dairy industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate all production equipment at or above production and quality standards.
• Perform PMs and maintain valves, pumps and homogenizer.
• Operate CIP separator and related equipment.
• Lift 50 to 100 lbs repetitively.
• Work in hot, humid conditions.
• Maintain records per company/state/federal requirements.

DUTIES

• MAKE MIX/BATCHING FOR UHT AND ASEPTIC SYSTEMS.
• PERFORM ASSIGNED PM’s, REBUILD VALVES,PUMPS AND HOMOGENIZER, ETC.
• OPERATE AND CIP SEPARATOR AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT
• LIFT 50 TO 100 LBS. ON A REPETITIVE BASIS.
• WORK IN HOT, HUMID CONDITIONS.
• COMPLETE AND MAINTAIN ALL ASSOCIATED RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY, STATE AND FEDERAL REQUIRMENTS.
• ADHERE TO ALL GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES.DUTIES AS ASSIGN

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
