EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is seeking a Process and Utility Piping Laborer with a readiness to work across a variety of job sites. The role emphasizes safe practices, hands-on labor, site cleanup, and supporting piping trades as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, basic tool familiarity, strong organizational skills, and good math and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must have transportation.
• Familiar with basic tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Proficient math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius; willing to travel to other states is a plus.
• Be able to work in varying seasonal and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and safety practices during all tasks.
• Provide labor work needed for a specific jobsite in a positive, efficient and timely manner.
• General and final cleanup on jobsites for projects.
• Distribute / clean up power hand-tools and extension cords.
• Learn the piping trade and assist as needed.
• Attend meetings and prepare daily documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
