Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Travel Percentage: 10%
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with mechanical troubleshooting
  • Preferred: Technical Associate Degree or equivalent
  • Preferred: Experience with manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
  • Prior leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods; prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective action
  • Interface with cross-functional team members in support of day-to-day operating requirements
  • Monitor and manage manufacturing loss on assigned lines
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems to identify hazards, defects, and needs for adjustment, repair, or escalation
  • Communicate with Operators regarding line issues, concerns, and watch-outs
  • Take responsibility for product line performance by maximizing equipment productivity and minimizing process yield loss
  • Identify and assist engineers with technical and process improvements
  • Maintain compliance with site and corporate Quality Management System requirements
  • Support the business during shutdowns and equipment/process failures
