P&A RECRUITING LLC in The Woodlands, TX seeks an injection molding operator to support production runs and ensure product quality. You will set up equipment, monitor molding operations, inspect parts, and package finished goods while maintaining safety and organization on the plant floor.
The role requires reading instructions, troubleshooting basic issues, and working full-time in a hands-on manufacturing environment with emphasis on accuracy and timely material handling.
Description
Set up and assist with new production runs
Operate and monitor injection molding/production equipment
Inspect finished parts for defects and quality issues
Check for short parts or improperly produced products
Trim and assemble parts as needed
Weigh, pack, sort, and prepare finished products for shipment
Properly mix materials required for production
Keep sufficient material in the hopper/dryer to prevent production interruptions
Notify supervisors of material or supply shortages
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all workplace and equipment safety procedures
Report unsafe conditions or behavior to a supervisor
Work professionally and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous plastic injection molding experience required
Experience operating and monitoring injection molding machines
Experience with machine setup, production runs, material handling, and quality inspection
Ability to troubleshoot basic production or machine issues
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to safely operate applicable tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Dependable and able to work a full-time schedule
Ability to follow company safety rules and procedures
Candidates must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, kneel, crawl, and reach as required throughout the workday.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle heavier materials of up to 100 pounds with appropriate assistance or equipment.
