Job summary

The Process Technician performs hands-on troubleshooting of production processes, supports line balancing and layout improvements, and helps implement practical improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency on the production floor. The role requires strong manufacturing process knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing, production, assembly, or process-related environment.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of production or assembly processes.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles (5S, kaizen, kanban).
  • Ability to read basic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support to production teams by troubleshooting process, equipment, tooling, and assembly issues.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement on the production line.
  • Help implement process improvements to boost productivity, quality, safety, and material flow.
  • Monitor production processes and identify root causes of recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and maintain flow.
