Job summary

Pregis LLC is seeking a Process Technician to support manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient processes, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. You will work with engineering and production teams to optimize SOPs and lean practices, performing maintenance, testing machinery, and guiding operators.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, familiarity with PLC/HMI, and a strong Lean/5S mindset.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in manufacturing or process improvement roles.
  • Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and basic programming preferred.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and test machinery and automation systems as needed.
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and process documentation.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Champion safety initiatives, conduct Gemba walks, and support corrective actions.
  • Facilitate lean events, 5S implementation, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Track and report production metrics, maintain visual performance boards, and assist with scheduling.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on processes and safety standards.
