Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Process Technician in Georgia to support efficient mold and machine set-ups, participate in mold changes, and provide technical support to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.

The role focuses on optimizing automation, conducting molding-related testing, and maintaining comprehensive process documentation to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the molding process, molding equipment, molding materials and mold tooling.
• Ability to react to situations in a timely manner and be flexible with people and operational assets.
• Troubleshoot operating and related process equipment and recommend solutions. Must have good problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Evaluate design proposals and implementation.
• Maintain process documentation.
• Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and material specifications.
• Be able to read mold prints.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Technician position is responsible for efficient mold/machine set-ups and is a resource for mold and equipment repairs.

• Assists in plant production and quality assurance while maintaining processes & maximizing machine performance, safety, and quality

• Optimizing the use of automation

• Conducts mold/machine/material testing, as required

• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work alone, or in a team environment with limited supervision
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write and communicate
• Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment
