Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC, seeks a Process Technician in Crystal Growth to ensure toolsets operate at peak yield and cost is minimized. This overnight role supports engineering and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform calibrations, achieve certifications, train operators, handle material dispositions, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must lift 25 lbs, climb a ladder, use tools, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and tool checks and ensure on time completion.
• Attain 100% certification on all processes in the department and support training efforts with operators and engineers on new tools.
• Perform special processing of material as requested by Engineering and/or R&D.
• Take on project work supporting the efforts of the departmental engineers.
• Handle dispositions of non-conforming material.

As a Process Technician in Crystal Growth, you will be responsible for ensuring toolsets are performing optimally to maximize yield/throughput and reduce cost.

• Perform calibrations and tool checks and ensure on time completion.
• Attain 100% certification on all processes in the department and support training efforts with operators and engineers on new tools.

This is an overnight position.
