Job summary

RVI is seeking a Process Technician to convert customer-provided engineering prints into precise Zuken plots and supporting documentation. You’ll interpret drawings, ensure every dimension and symbol is faithfully represented, and verify accuracy against the original documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience using Zuken software preferred.
• CAD, drafting, electrical documentation, or technical drawings desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical prints.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn specialized software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and ask appropriate questions when information is unclear.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer prints, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and accurately transfer information into Zuken software.
• Create Zuken plots based on customer-provided prints and documentation.
• Verify that all dimensions, notes, callouts, symbols, and other required details are accurately represented.
• Compare completed Zuken plots against the original customer documentation to identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Follow established company procedures, drafting standards, and customer requirements.
• Maintain organized and accurate electronic files and documentation.
• Identify potential errors or inconsistencies in customer prints before creating the final plot.
• Make revisions and corrections as needed while maintaining document accuracy and version control.
• Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
