The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with large-shot extrusion blow molding equipment and can quickly identify and resolve process issues while maintaining production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on blow molding experience.
• Experience with large-shot extrusion blow molding equipment.
• Ability to set up and operate blow molding machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read technical manuals, work orders, BOMs.
• Experience using calipers and micrometers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute safe startup procedures on blow molding equipment.
• Perform color changes, material changes, purging, and tooling setup.
• Troubleshoot machine, process, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.
• Adjust temperatures, pressures, speeds, and process parameters.
• Perform mold changes and startup of new production jobs.
• Inspect first article parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
• Train and support production operators.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and PPE compliance.

This position is responsible for supporting extrusion blow molding operations through machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, mold changes, quality inspections, and operator support. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with large‑shot extrusion blow molding equipment and the ability to quickly identify and resolve process issues while maintaining production efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• 2+ years of hands-on blow molding experience
• Industrial large-shot Extrusion Blow Molding experience
• Experience setting up and operating blow molding machinery
• strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform mold changes and process adjustments
• Experience with color changes and material changeovers
• Ability to read and interpret:

• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as:

Responsibilities

• Execute safe and accurate startup procedures on blow molding production equipment
• Perform color changes, material changeovers, purging, and tooling setup
• Troubleshoot machine, process, tooling, and auxiliary equipment issues
• Adjust temperatures, pressures, speeds, and process parameters to maintain quality standards
• Perform mold changes and startup of new production jobs
• Inspect first article parts and perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Document process changes and maintain process control records
• Work closely with Quality to ensure weights, dimensions, and colors remain within specification
• Train and support production operators
• Provide floor support and break relief coverage as needed
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot grinders and auxiliary equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate equipment and process issues effectively during shift transitions
• Enforce PPE requirements and plant safety procedures

Essential Functions of this Role Include
