Job summary

Primient in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Process Operator to safely operate and troubleshoot a highly automated plant that produces high-quality ingredients for the food, beverage, and industrial sectors.

You will work in a 12-hour rotating shift in a 365/24/7 operation, with opportunities for advancement as you master the system and processes. Competitive pay starts at $34/hour, progressing to $40 in 120 days, with a potential to $53.08/hour, plus benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred; minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills required.

• Ability to work a 12-hour days to nights rotating shift schedule in a 365/24/7 operation with the flexibility to work alternate schedules and overtime.

• Starting pay of $34/hour and progression to $40/hour within first 120 days. There are further opportunities to advance pay upwards of $53.08/hour with our pay for progression system.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Process Operator in our Lafayette South Plant (formerly known as Tate & Lyle) you will be responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of a highly automated, state of the art system that produces distinctive, high quality ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, and other industries.

Through our large-scale, efficient manufacturing plants, you will use innovative technology to turn raw materials into distinctive, high quality ingredients for our customers. These ingredients add taste, texture, nutrition and increased functionality to products that millions of people around the world use or consume every day.
